“Let us remember: One book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world.” -Malala Yousafzai
With summer coming to an end and the start of the new school year gearing up, there’s still a lot of uncertainty in the air. Whether your school is having in person classes, online classes or some type of hybrid classes the most important factor is safety. The safety of you, your classmates, and your teachers, as well as the safety of your family is something each school has taken into consideration when making plans for our new life with Covid-19.
We’ve never been in a situation like this before. This pandemic is a new unknown for everyone. And it’s okay to not be okay. It’s okay to not feel 100%. The most important thing besides your physical safety is your mental and emotional well-being. So talk to your parents, talk to your siblings, talk to your friends about what you’re feeling. You’re not alone. Stay connected to the people you love and care about. Fill your life with things that make you happy and make the most of everyday.
Even though this school year will be unlike any other, the beginning of a new school year is something to be excited about! It’ll help bring some normalcy back into our lives and the possibilities in your future are endless. So for now, let’s stay positive and remember the important things!
